The 8th China (Shenzhen) Innovation & Entrepreneurship International Competition (IEI) has successfully concluded its Switzerland and Spain Division finals. The Switzerland Division finals were held in Zurich on October 10, while the Spain Division finals took place in Barcelona on October 14. Out of 278 projects in Switzerland and 276 projects in Spain, 21 outstanding entries from seven key industries, including Next-Generation Information Technology and High-end Equipment Manufacturing, were selected to compete in the finals.
This competition brought together innovators from around the globe, with the Switzerland Division attracting 344 participants and the Spain Division 343. In the finals, contestants presented their projects through pitches and a Q&A with the judging panel, with each division awarding prizes to six standout projects.
Finalists from each division will gather in Shenzhen in late November to compete in industry-specific and grand finals, as well as to participate in talent matching and project landing activities, fueling their innovation journey forward.
