On Sept 19, a group of over 30 international media reporters visited Dongying City in east China’s Shandong Province. During on-site visits, they have observed the achievements in wetlands ecosystem conservation at the Yellow River Delta National Nature Reserve, learned about offshore wind turbines at the 26MW wind power assembly site, and witnessed the success of high-end equipment manufacturing at the Offshore Equipment Industrial Park of Dongying. At their last destination, Shengli Oilfield Lai 113 Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) production site, they have investigated the application of CCUS technology.


Through on-site visits, reporters have gained an in-depth understanding of Dongying's innovative practices in promoting the coordinated development of ecological conservation and socio-economic progress in the Yellow River Basin. They have praised the local accomplishments in striking a balance between energy transition and ecological preservation, and also recorded the highlights and experiences through various forms such as words, images and videos.
